Susan Yvette Pittman Monteleone

Susan Yvette Pittman Monteleone passed away peacefully, surrounded by her daughter, son-in-law and family members, on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at her home in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age 59.

She was born in Hammond, Louisiana on Wednesday, December 25, 1963. She was a native of Ponchatoula but grew up in Kenner, Louisiana. During her brief illness, she resided in Ponchatoula with her daughter and son-in-law, where they made the most of every moment together.

She enjoyed scrapbooking and loved to watch the Saints during football season. To her daughter’s friends, she was known as “Momma Sue”.

Susan is survived by her beloved daughter, Emily Jolette Monteleone Roson and son-in-law, Timothy Roson, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph John Monteleone, Jr., and parents, Gladys Emily McCrory Pittman and Norman Mathis Pittman.

We would like to thank St. Tammany Parish Hospice for their companionate and extraordinary care.
