William Perrine Mygatt

William “Bill” Perrine Mygatt passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 76.  He was born on Friday, August 1, 1947, in Alton, IL and resided in Hammond, LA.  He was an electrical engineer for mining companies and lived throughout the United States and Indonesia and went on to work as an electrical consultant in Hawaii and Alaska.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Mary Ruth Heal Mygatt; daughter, Megan E. Mygatt MacMenamin (Corey) and granddaughter, Sophia; stepson, James Scott

Hale (Mary) and grandchildren, James, Tom, and Ruth; sister, Ruth Perrine Mygatt, and brothers-in-law, David Heal (Lynne) and Charles Heal (Ginger).  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Charlotta Mae Perrine Mygatt and Marion “Mike” Jackson Mygatt.
