Warren B Mott, Sr.

Warren B. Mott, Sr. passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at his residence in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 88.  He was born on Thursday, September 19, 1935, in Houston, Texas.  He was raised in the New Orleans area prior to moving to Hammond.  Warren was a project manager in the Petrochemical industry.  He worked for Avondale and Halter Marine and traveled extensively in the industry.  Warren taught at ABC Technical College and was in the Airforce National Guard.  He was in the Elks Lodge #30 in Metairie, and enjoyed fishing, coaching, and watching his children play sports.

Warren is survived by his wife, Beulah Henriquez Mott; former wife, Josephine B. Mott; sons, Warren B. Mott, Jr. (Janice) and Bryant G. Mott (Kathy); and daughter-in-law, Pam M. Mott; grandchildren, Saundra Marquet, Warren “Ben” Mott, III (Tissy), Dustin Mott (Courtney), Tasha Dinger (Greg), Alexis N. Mott (Brandon), and Coleman A. Mott (Darian); great grandchildren, Brianna, Aaron, Hailey, Piper, Declan, Charlie, Rickie, Landon, Lannah, and Leigha; and great-great grandchildren, Isabella, Christopher, and Oliver.

Preceded in death by his children, Carolyn M. Marquet (Bill) and Louis A. Mott; grandson, Brandon Mott; mother and stepfather, Hattie Guillot Kennedy and Felix Kennedy; father, Louis Mott; and brother, Carl Mott (Betty).
