Steven John Pinion

Steven “Steve” John Pinion passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana at the age of 66.  He was born on Thursday, April 18, 1957, in Maurepas, Louisiana and resided in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.  Steve was a beloved father, grandfather, son and brother who will be deeply missed.  Everyone always saw him as a grizzly, but he was really a big ole teddy bear.  He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Steve is survived by his sons, James F. Pinion and his wife, Amanda, Jean´ Paul Pinion, and Brandon Stephen Cutrer Recotta and his wife, Nicole; stepdaughter, Colleen Everett and her husband, Aaron; sister, Debra Richardson; brother, Kerry Pinion; and grandchildren, John Beale, Steven Gill, Phoebe Pinion, Willow Pinion, James Pinion, Sandra Pinion, Laken Pinion, Charlotte, Evie, and Rosie Everett.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Nicole Pinion; mother, Levonia Pinion Crane; father, Mervin Pinion; and granddaughter, Hollie Ann Gill.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.  The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm.
