Steven Louis Chambers, Sr.

Steven L. Chambers, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, in New Orleans, Louisiana at the age of 57.  He was born on Thursday, March 4, 1965, in New Orleans, LA, and resided in Kenner, Louisiana.  Steven was a talented bass guitarist in various New Orleans area bands for over 40 years.  He and his brother, Kirk, shared a love of playing music.

Steven is survived by his loving family: children, Catherine “Katie” Chambers and Steven “Louis” Chambers, Jr.; parents, Cathie Reich and Oscar Chambers, III.; siblings, Kursti Chambers and Kirk Chambers; and grandchildren, Payton Warner, Melody Comardelle, Kennedy Chambers, and Everly Chambers.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Estelle Reich.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Steven’s Life at Munholland United Methodist Church, 1201 Metairie Road, Metairie, LA 70005 on Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
