Ronald Anthony, Sr.

Ronald "Ronnie" Anthony, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at his residence in Loranger, Louisiana, at the age of 71. He was born on Tuesday, September 22, 1953, in Independence, Louisiana.

Ronnie enjoyed fishing and had a deep love for The Lord. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends who cherished his presence and the joy he brought into their lives.

Ronnie is survived by his loving children, Priscilla “Prissy” Anthony, Timothy Scott Anthony and his wife Krystie, and Christopher Lee Anthony. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Ben, Alisa, Brice, Amy, Zeke, Lil’ Junior, Tristan, and Tanner. Ronnie is also survived by his brothers, Hezzie Anthony, Jr. and his wife Marie, and Rev. Kenneth J. Anthony and his wife Vonda, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Preceded in death by his son, Ronald Anthony, Jr., his parents, Myrtis L. Baham Anthony and Hezzie Anthony, Sr., his sisters, Maxine M. Hawkins and Alice Cordie Johnson, and his brothers, Elzie G. Anthony, Thomas H. Anthony, Bobby L. Anthony, and Edgar L. “China” Anthony.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Lighthouse Baptist Church Cemetery in Uneedus, Louisiana, on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11:00 am.
