Ronald James Allgood

Ronald “Ronnie” James Allgood passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 81. He was born on Monday, October 25, 1943, in New Orleans and resided in Ponchatoula.

Ronald is survived by his sister, Geraldine Daigrepont; nieces, Lynne Stock (Karl), Christine Plumley, Lisa Ross, Judy Hayden (Thomas), and Leslie Cambre; nephew, Daniel Daigrepont; and dear friend, Bonnie Perrin. Also survived by many family members and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Rena Keller Allgood and Turner Allgood; and sister, Maxine Ruiz Gregoire.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am followed by the Catholic Service.

Private inurnment will be held in St. Louis Cemetery #3 in New Orleans at a later date.
