Rhonda Gainey Phillips

Rhonda Gainey Phillips passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 60.  She was born on Friday, May 29, 1964 in Kenner, LA and resided in Ponchatoula.

Rhonda is survived by her daughters, Ame Lee of Ponchatoula and Danielle Phillips and her wife Hammy of Atlanta; beloved feline companion, Miss Spicy; grand-dogs Toby and Rosie; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glenn Dale and Sharon Methvin and Donnie and Debby Methvin; and sister, Brenda Gainey. Also survived by many family members and friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved mother, Marjorie Sharp Gainey; father, Charles Gainey; and brother, Dennis Methvin and stepbrother, Thomas Methvin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Rhonda’s Life at the Kiwanis Log Cabin, 201 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, LA on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
