Rebecca Alicia Jernigan

Rebecca “Becky” Alicia Jernigan passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 in Amite, Louisiana at the age of 34.  Becky was born on Monday, March 10, 1986 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was raised in Watson, Louisiana, and was a current resident of Roseland, Louisiana.  She attended Live Oak High School in Watson, Louisiana.

Becky is survived by her loving family; her children, Kaylie, Melanie, and Jayden; mother, Debra L. Cyr and stepfather, Scotty Welch; husband, Murray Broussard; father, Richard A. Jernigan; and dear friends, Angela Cutrer, Wayne Walker, and Chasity Coon.

Preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Haylie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 S. I-12 Service Rd., Ponchatoula, Louisiana on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm and continue until service time.
