Rachael Elizabeth Musacchia

Rachael Elizabeth Musacchia passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 in Kenner, Louisiana at the age of 39. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on Thursday, July 1, 1982, was raised in St. Bernard Parish, and resided in Kenner, Louisiana.

Rachael was the proud mother of her loving son, Cayden Michael Ryder; she was survived by her siblings, Ryan Joseph Mapes and Rebecca Patricia Mapes; aunt, Shelly Gunning (Simon), great-aunt, Helen Raphiel; cousins, Mindi Mapes (Chad), Donald Mapes, III. and Natalie Raphiel; nephew, Ryder Jean Mapes; and niece, Makenzie Olivia Shields. Also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved mother, Billie Jean Mapes; uncle, Donald Mapes, Jr., sister, Angel Olivia Severson; grandparents, Donald Mapes, Sr. and Irene Stoyka Mapes.

Private family funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Celebration Church of St. Bernard, Arabi, Louisiana.

Interment followed in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, Chalmette, Louisiana.
