Priscilla Mae West Hutchins passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024, in Hammond, Louisiana at the age of 73. She was born on Saturday, April 21, 1951, in Logansport, Indiana, and after residing on the West and East Coasts, made her home with her husband on the Gulf Coast, in Hammond, Louisiana.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who adored her family. They shared her love of animals; raising horses, cows, chickens, dogs, cats, birds, and iguanas. She enjoyed her career as a concert photographer and became very close friends with several country music stars.
Priscilla married the love of her life on Saturday, May 12, 1990, her husband of 34 years, Robin C. Hutchins. She was the proud mother of Brandy L. Lee (Michael) and Frank E. West (Giana); grandmother of Victoria West, Seth Hauck (Kaley DeGroff), Brandon Lee (Mika), Carson West (Morgan), Bailey Guedry (William), Anthony Edberg, and Jessica Edberg; and great-grandmother of Axel Hayes, Avery Lee, Audrey Lee, Levi Hauck, Everett DeGroff, Brynlee Guedry, and Grace West.
Preceded in death by her parents, Floyd E. and Ruth Mae Quillen.
A private Celebration of Priscilla Mae West’s Life will be held at a later date.
