Paula Thompson Effler

Paula Ann Thompson Effler passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023, in Hammond, Louisiana at the age of 62.  She was born on Friday, February 19, 1960, in Independence, Louisiana and resided in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.  Paula was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter and sister who left us too soon.  She never met a stranger and will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Paula is survived by her sons, James F. Pinion and his wife, Amanda, and Jean´ Paul Pinion; father, John Thompson; sister, Doni Miller; brother, Micheal Thompson; and grandchildren, John Beale, Steven Gill, Phoebe Pinion, Willow Pinion, James Pinion, Sandra Pinion, and Laken Pinion.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Nicole Pinion; mother, Earlene Thompson; brother, Johnny Thompson; sister, Kathy Thompson; and granddaughter, Hollie Ann Gill.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.  The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm.
