Mickey Roye passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, at the age of 76. He was born on Monday, March 3, 1947 in Monroe, Louisiana, was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, and was a resident of Ponchatoula, LA. Mickey was the owner of Just Add Gas in Albany, Louisiana. He enjoyed going to Motorcycle Rally's in Hot Springs, Arkansas as well as going to the Biggest Flea Market in Canton, Texas with his wife, Carol. He loved spending time with his family and going RVing. His Yorkies were a big part of his life.
Mickey is survived by his children, Chris Lee, Kelly Gill Maxwell, and Michael Gill; father, Thomas Ahart; sister, Debbie Waddle; brother-in-law, Rusty Cates; nephews, Nic Roye and Michael Roye, Jr; niece, Tracy Hurdle; six grandchildren, Alli, Sasha, Samantha, Rachael, Michael, and Dustin; and two great grandchildren, Easton and Keegan.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Carol Lena Roye; mother, Lila Hinton Ahart; and brother, Michael Roye, Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana, on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 12:00 pm. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until 12:00 pm.
Interment with Military Honors will follow in Carter Cemetery, Springfield, LA.
