Melissa Eiswirth Radcliff

Melissa Eiswirth Radcliff passed away peacefully in the evening of Friday, August 2, 2024, at the age of 62.  She was born on Tuesday, January 23, 1962, and raised in Metairie, LA.

Melissa graduated from Mount Carmel Academy and later went to John Jay Beauty College.  She met her husband Dave in New Orleans when he made an appointment to get his haircut and from there, they made a beautiful life together.  Melissa followed Dave’s job through Texas, Tennessee, and finally landed back in Louisiana with their two sons, Brandon and Benny.

Melissa was known for her knack for design and decorating, her love for having a good time, and her business Radcliff’s Quickstop that was a staple in the Springfield community for many years. She loved her husband Dave more than anything and has missed him since he passed away in 2008.  She also loved her two sons and grandchildren with all her heart.  Melissa will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Melissa is survived by her sons, Brandon Radcliff (wife Catherine) and Benjamin “Benny” Radcliff; grandchildren, Ryleigh, Bryson, Brenton, and Brenlee; sister, Mary Eiswirth Sylve (husband Mike Sylve); brother, Shon Eiswirth; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Radcliff; parents, Benjamin and Arnell Eiswirth; and brother, Benjamin “David” Eiswirth.

There will be a private Celebration of Melissa’s Life at a later date.
