Mars Ray Reno, Jr., affectionately known as Tuffy, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Hammond, Louisiana. He was born on Sunday, January 11, 1953, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Tuffy will be remembered with love by those who survive him, including his sisters, Kathleen Reno Cantrell, JoAnne Reno Nicholas (Gerry), and Elizabeth Webb Bergeron. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews, who carry forward his memory with affection and gratitude.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mars R. Reno, Sr.; his mother, Irene Joyce Webb; his sister, Nancy Reno Leonard; his brother, Daniel Marvin Reno; his brothers-in-law, Steve Cantrell and Thomas Bergeron; his sister-in-law, Susan Reno; and his former wife, Theresa Roy Reno.
