Lynn Sheridan Reese

Lynn Sheridan Reese passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at her home in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 76.  She was born on Sunday, August 5, 1945, in Ponchatoula, LA. Lynn loved her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, working in her yard and tending to her flowers, and her beloved Pomeranian, Sandy.

Lynn is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Edward “Eddie” J. Reese, Sr; her children, Eddie Joe Reese, Jr. (Rita), Kevin Reese (Monica), and Darian Reese (Bridget); grandchildren, Marie Cofield (Nick), Trey Reese (Emily), Monica Fontenot (Dusty), Whitney Reese, Kaleb Reese, and Ashlyn Reese; great grandchildren, Sharon and Savannah Cofield, Dusty Fontenot, Jr., and Lennon Reese; sister, Gwen Alexander (David); sister-in-law, Linda Sheridan. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Bethel Sheridan; and brothers, Jimmy Sheridan (Bobbie) and Don Sheridan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Rd, Ponchatoula, LA on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 1:00 pm.  The visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Hammond, LA.
