Loretta Mccullen Hofsaess

Loretta McCullen Hofsaess went to be with the Lord, peacefully at North Oaks Medical Center on February 16, 2025 at the age of 64.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tunney McCullen; her brothers Ralph Jimmy McCullen and Douglas McCullen and her sister-in-law, Cynthia McCullen.

Loretta was survived by her loving mother Ada (Sis) McCullen and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

During the years that she worked, Loretta was employed as a secretary for Congressman Richard Baker, First Guaranty Bank and North Oaks Medical Center.

As a survivor of spina bifida from birth, Loretta overcame the obstacles associated with her condition. She never complained or felt sorry for herself, but spent her life encouraging others.

A celebration of Loretta's life will be held at Woodland Park Baptist Church, 1909 J.W. Davis Drive in Hammond, Louisiana on Saturday, April 5th at 2:00pm.
