Lenora Marie Ray

Lenora Marie Ray passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, in New Orleans, Louisiana at the age of 73.  She was born on Friday, October 13, 1950, in New Orleans and resided in Slidell.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose family was her everything.

Lenora is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, June Marie Baker and Michael Baker; brother, Nelson Griffin, Sr.; grandchildren, Thomas Michael Baker and Amanda Hope Baker; and great-grandchildren, June Michelle Falgout, Waylynn Baker, and Reagan Baker.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Murl Ray; parents, Leah Hartman Griffin and Bruce Joseph Griffin, Sr.; and siblings, Margaret Griffin Danos, Gary Griffin, Sr., James Griffin, Sr., and Bruce Griffin, Jr.

A Celebration of Lenora’s Life will be held in Georgia at a later date.
