Laura Frances Dykes Brown passed away the morning of Saturday, August 03, 2024, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 83. She was born on Tuesday, November 19, 1940, in Tylertown, Mississippi and resided in Hammond.

Laura is survived by her daughters, Marie C. Perry and Jeanette L. LeBlanc. Also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, family members and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Brown; daughter, Theresa L. Johnson; parents, Woodrow and Toye Dykes; and grandson, Laramie LeBlanc.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 11109 Jerusalem Church Rd., Hammond, Louisiana on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, beginning at 9:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery.
