Kursti Michelle Chambers

Kursti Michelle Chambers passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at her residence in Kenner, Louisiana at the age of 58. She was born on Tuesday, March 29, 1966, in New Orleans, LA, and resided in Kenner, Louisiana.  Kursti was a loving mother and grandmother to all her children and grandchildren. She was loved by so many, and was such a caring, and free-spirited person.  Her laugh was infectious, and she was always cracking jokes.

Kursti is survived by her loving family, her children, David Joseph Lagattuta, Jr., Kayla Lagattuta, and Timothy Lagattuta; mother, Cathie Reich; brother, Kirk Chambers; and grandchildren, Anthony Lagattuta, Christian Lagattuta, and Alice Goodwin.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by her father, Oscar Chambers, III; brother, Steven L. Chambers, Sr.; and grandparents, Louis and Estelle Reich.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Kursti’s Life at Munholland Methodist Church, 1201 Metairie Road, Metairie, LA 70005 on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 11:30 am.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until 11:30 am.  A reception will follow until 2:00 pm.
