Kevin Joseph Dufrene

Kevin Joseph Dufrene passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at his residence in Hammond, Louisiana at the age of 64.  He was born on Thursday, April 14, 1955 in New Orleans, Louisiana, was raised in LaPlace and lived in Hammond for over 25 years.

Kevin is survived by his beloved family; his wife, Kathy Matherne Dufrene; son, Lance J. Dufrene; daughter, Kasey Dufrene Galey and her husband, Christopher Galey; grandson Mason J. Galey; mother, Lilly Tassin Dufrene; and siblings, Anthony Dufrene and Cindy Pickering and her husband, Danny Pickering.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonie J. Dufrene.

An invitation only family funeral service will be held in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 S. I-12 Service Rd., Ponchatoula, LA.  Burial will be held in the National Veteran’s Cemetery, Zachary, Louisiana.
