Katlyn Elizabeth Gomez

Katlyn Elizabeth Gomez passed away on Friday July 14, 2023 in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 18.  She “came in like a wrecking ball” on Thursday, March 10, 2005 in Albany, Oregon and resided in Hammond, Louisiana.

Katlyn is survived by her loving family: her parents, Brandi LeAnne Dalesky Gomez and Randy Lee Gomez; siblings, Courtney Gomez, Lacy Gomez, Randi Gomez, Paige Gomez, Sabrie Mengler, Dylan Kelly, Seth Chamberlain, and Tyler Mengler; nieces and nephews, Nadalee, Teegan, Hudsyn, Karson, Harmony, Brantley, Leighla, and Ellie; great grandmother, Dorothy “grandma Dot” Dalesky; aunts and uncles, Candy Gomez, Paul and Kim Gomez, Bryan Gomez and Mindy Theriot and their daughter, Blakely, and Bobby and Kim Gomez.  Also survived by many family members and friends.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, Bobby Gomez, Sr and Ethel “Marie” Gomez, Wendel Robb and Virginia Robb, and Betty Kathleen Dalesky and Ronald Handy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Katlyn’s Life in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana, on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 7:00 pm.  Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm and continue until 7:00 pm.
