Katherine Mary Brandau

Katherine Mary Brandau passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 38.  She was born on Saturday, April 23, 1986, in New Orleans, LA, and resided in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Katherine is survived by her loving family; her children, Terrell Brandau and  Camyrn Brandau; father, Wahden Brandau, Sr.; siblings, Wahden Brandau, Jr. (Ashley), Nicole Jamison, and Amba Matecun (Tank); aunts and uncles, Wanda Bennett Newby (Louis), David Paul Bennett, Charlene Brandau, Kevin Brandau (Susan), Michael Brandau (Stacy), Bryant Brandau (Christine), Aileen Johnson (Leslie), David Brandau (Shein), and Patrick Brandau (Vanessa); nieces and nephews, Cody Moore, Brennan Matecun, Alyssa Matecun, Wrexen Matecun, Wahden Brandau, III., Bentley Jamison, Kenlee Brandau, and Klaire Brandau; and great nephew, Denver Rousseau.  Also survived by many cousins, and extended family members.

Preceded in death by her beloved mother, Gloria Ann Bennett Brandau, grandparents, Barbara Dibble Bennett and Terrell J. Bennett, Sr and James and Kay Brandau; and uncles, Terrell J. Bennett, Jr. and James “Jimmy” A. Bennett.

The Celebration of Katherine’s Life will be held at the Ponchatoula Kiwanis Cabin, located in Ponchatoula Kiwanis Park, 201 W. Magnolia St. and S. 6th St.  The date will be announced.
