Kara Anderson Chaney passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, in Hammond, Louisiana at the age of 49. She was born on Friday, January 19, 1973, in Hammond, Louisiana and resided in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Kara is survived by her daughters, Bethany Anderson and Kalissa Chaney; sister, Ronette Anderson; and granddaughter, Caylee Taylor.

She was preceded by her husband, Ronald Chaney; parents, Ronald and Trilby Anderson; and brother, Curtis Anderson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Rd., Ponchatoula, LA 70454 on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 2:00 pm. The visitation will begin at 12:00 pm and continue until service time.

Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hammond, LA.
