Justin Francis Goelz

Justin Francis Goelz departed this life on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the age of 34 years old. Although it is impossible to capture the many adventures of Justin's life in one passage, it is undeniable that his absolute passion was his daughter, Ellen “Ellie" Margaret Goelz. Known as a man of many skills and interests, Justin, on Monday, October 25, 2021, fulfilled his best role yet, and became a father. From Ellie’s birth on, Justin’s life was consumed by his love and devotion for her. His wish was to share his brilliant knowledge of music, camping, cooking, engineering and so much more with his daughter. Justin’s incomparable talents and charisma will live on forever through Ellie.

Justin is survived by his beautiful daughter, Ellen Margaret Goelz; loving partner, Tori Robillard; devoted parents, Frank and Cindy Goelz; his sister, Megan Goelz Robert, her husband, Adam Robert II; and beloved niece, Elouise Robert. Justin is also survived by his adoring grandparents, Francis and Margaret Goelz; grandmother, Linda Gallaty, as well as many cousins, aunts, and dear friends who will all deeply miss him.

Preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred “Buttsie” Gallaty Jr.

Justin’s family would also like to acknowledge the tireless efforts of the Donate Life organization. Justin’s organ donor allowed him to enjoy his “bonus” years which we are eternally grateful for.

Justin’s ashes are to be spread in his favorite place, the colorful state of Colorado. Family and friends of Justin are welcome to attend an outdoor Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at The Solomon Center, 54296 Highway 445, Loranger, LA 70446 beginning at 11:00 AM.
