Joyce Harris Debram

Joyce Harris deBram passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020 in Covington, Louisiana at the age of 82.  She was born on Monday, November 15, 1937 in Winfield, Alabama.  She was a longtime resident of Slidell, Louisiana prior to moving to Pearl River, Louisiana in 2003.  She was a beautician for many years. She attended Trinity Presbyterian Church in Slidell where she helped grow the church and was a member for most of her life.  She was a devoted mother, aunt, sister, grandmother, and friend who loved everyone she was around.  She spent most of her life helping raise foster children and welcomed many children in her home.

Joyce is survived by her loving family: her beloved husband, George E. deBram; children, Michael deBram (Karen) and Jacob deBram (Wendy);  grandchildren, Michael deBram Jr. (Brooke), Hannah LaTulippe (Casey), Ashly deBram, Thomas "Tom" deBram, Tyler deBram, Jacob deBram, Jr., and Emma deBram; and great grandchildren, Hartlee LaTulippe, Charlie LaTulippe, and Blake deBram; brother, William Harris (Beth); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, James Richard Harris and Lucille Knight Harris Schott; and joined by her son, Thomas "Tony" deBram who passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020.

Graveside services were held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Covington, Louisiana.
