Joseph Wayne Pinion

Joseph “Joey” Wayne Pinion passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 in Jackson, Louisiana at the age of 59.  He was born on Tuesday, March 3, 1964 in Brunswick, ME and was raised and resided in Ponchatoula and Hammond, Louisiana.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time on the Tangipahoa River.  He was an excellent welder and enjoyed all things outdoors.

Joey is survived by his parents, Elaine and Larry Tanner; sister, Sherrie Ragan (Jody); brother, Larry Tanner, Jr. (Michelle); niece, Ashley Ragan Beauchamp (Aron); and nephews, Jason Ragan (Stacey), Trevor Ragan (Amanda), Ethan Tanner, Nathan Tanner, and Matthew Tanner. Also survived by great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Lillian Richardson, Alvin and Alice Pinion, and Carrie Tanner.

Private services will be held by Joey’s family.
