Johnny Wayne Jones

Johnny Wayne Jones passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 in Hammond, Louisiana at the age of 83.  He was born on Tuesday, October 13, 1936 in Houston, Arkansas and was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Johnny retired from the Internal Revenue Service where he was employed as a field auditor for over 30 years.

Beloved husband of Julie Parra Jones; father of Caren Jones Robbins; grandfather of Lauren and Joshua Hildinger; brother of Huberta Teeter, Doris Hill and Kenneth Jones; stepfather of Stephen and Jason Parra; and step grandfather of Madison, Mallory, Morgan, Jason Andrew, and Jordan.

Preceded in death by his parents, Hubert H. and Johnnie Mae Jones.

Graveside services will be held in Arkansas at a later date.
