Joann Lee Walsh

Joann Lee Walsh passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, surrounded by her family, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 71.  Joann was born on Thursday, October 17, 1946 in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.  She was retired from Bell South.

Joann is survived by her loving family: her mother, Muriel LaScola Cavat; companion, Darlene Atwood; brother and sister-in-law, John J. Walsh, III and Adeline Gioia Walsh; nieces and nephews, John “Jay” Walsh, IV and Tina Antill Walsh, and Shannon W. Verdon and Kenny Verdon; great nieces and nephews, Jessica Walsh, Jade Wingerter, Julia Verdon, John Walsh, V., and Kenneth Paul Verdon; also survived by Jimmy Atwood, Stephanie and Jonathan Miller, Michael Atwood, Gavin Atwood, Wyatt and Waylon Miller.

Preceded in death by her father, John J. Walsh, Jr. and stepfather, George Cavat.

A celebration of Joann’s life will be held by her family.
