Jessie Joseph Chatagnier Jr

Jessie Joseph Chatagnier, Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 19, 2021 in Hammond, Louisiana at the age of 42.  He was born on Friday, March 30, 1979 in Houma, raised in Dulac, and was a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Jessie is survived by his daughters, Kaitlyn A. Cavalier of Plaquemine, and Julie C. Wade (Dylan) of Ponchatoula; son, John M. Chatagnier of New Orleans; grandson, Leo Wade; mother, Linda Chatagnier of Raceland; sisters, Gail C. Price (Ray, Sr.) of Montegut, and Jessica Lynn Dupre of Houma; three nieces, and one nephew.

Preceded in death by his father, Jessie Joseph Chatagnier, Sr.; uncles, Myron Chatagnier and Danny Chatagnier; aunt, Charlene Chatagnier; and grandparents, Medelton and Hazel Price Chatagnier.

A Celebration of Jessie’s Life will be held by his family at a later date.
