Jessica Chantel Jennings

Jessica Chantel Jennings passed away peacefully on Monday, June 28, 2021 at her residence in Slidell, Louisiana at the age of 39.  She was born on Friday, July 31, 1981 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Jessica is survived by her loving family: her beloved children, Sara, Ciara, and Luis Jacob; father, Eddie Jennings, Jr.; mother, Malinda Weaver; sisters, Jennifer Jennings and Malysa Weaver; brother, Gordon Weaver; grandmothers, Geraldine Jennings and Francis Weaver; nephews, Antonio Robinson, Jr., Anthony Jennings, and Peyton Jennings; niece, Malyna Kerlee; great niece, Wynter Adore Jennings; aunt, Janet Jennings Bland; and uncles, Jerry Jennings (Audrey), Bill Weaver, Jr., and Michael Weaver (Cyndi).  Also survived by lots of cousins, family members, and friends.

Preceded in death by twin sons, Michael and Matthew Huy; grandfathers, Eddie B. Jennings, Sr. and Bill Weaver, Sr.; great-grandmother, Florance Dalone; and aunt, Terri Jennings Herkes.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Rd., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm.
