Jennifer Lee Mills Billiot

Jennifer Lee Mills Billiot passed away peacefully on Friday, January 31, 2025, with her family by her side, in Jefferson, Louisiana, at the age of 62. She was born on Saturday, September 15, 1962, in Waterloo, Iowa and resided in Ponchatoula.  Jenny was a true free spirit, who enjoyed tropical traveling with her family. She enjoyed the music of Van Morrison and Jimmy Buffet and was an amazing dog mom and animal lover.

Jennifer is survived by her loving family: sister, Janiece Mills Weinberger and her husband, Paul; brothers, Daniel Mills (Karen), Loel Mills (Wynette), Joel Mills (Vickie), and Donald Mills; sister-in-law, Colleen Mills; nephew, Kyle W. Weinberger and his wife, Athena; niece, Jessica Weinberger; niece, Alyce Simpson and her husband, Thomas; and nephew, David Weiss. Also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of nine years, Timothy “Timmy” Edwin Billiot, Sr.; parents, James L. and Janet Ann Safley Mills; siblings, Deborah Seago, John Gunn, David Gunn, Richard Gunn, James Mills, Alan Mills, and Richard Mills.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Jennifer’s Life in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana, on Saturday, March 8, 2025.  The visitation will begin at 1:00 pm followed by the service at 2:00 pm.

Donations may be made to Locks of Love or Dante’s Hope Animal Rescue in memory of Jennifer.
