Jacqueline Ann Norman Ratliff Genco

Jacqueline “Pippy” “Jackie” Ann Norman Ratliff Genco passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023, after an amazing night of playing Booray, at her nephew’s residence in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of  80.  She was born on Tuesday, March 23, 1943 in Curwensville, PA and resided in Amite, LA.  Maw Maw Jackie was a wonderful, loving woman who never met a stranger.   She was absolutely surprised by her surprise “80th birthday party” that her family held in her honor in March of this year.  It was such a blessing to be surrounded by so many family members and friends who helped her celebrate.

Jackie is survived by her beloved family: her children, Carolyn Ratliff Dupont (Donald), Cynthia Ratliff, and Gordon Scott Ratliff (Joni); special daughter, Debra Relan; sisters, Leona Kinchen, Judy Norman, Mona Milton (Wyman), Lucille Whittington, and brother, Charles Norman; grandchildren, Brad Dupont (Julia), Donnie Dupont (Jennifer), Aaron Dupont, Cathryn Dupont, Elizabeth Dupont (Eric), Caitlyn Dupont, Chloe Dupont, Chad Maurer, Amy Maurer (Sam), Wayne Ratliff (Catherine), Chris Ratliff, Brittany Morse, Danielle George, Trey Ratliff, Kimber Watkins, Katie Roy (Shaun), Derrick Rick, Chance Rick (Carla), Megan Cockran, Wade Ratliff, Stephanie Withrow, David Withrow, Marlee Ratliff, Christian Ratliff, Abby Ratliff, Chloe Culbreath, and Delton Watkins; special great grandchildren, Gaige Ziegler, Michael Ziegler, and Selena “CC” Ziegler who she raised.  Also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many family members, friends, her dog, Sky and her cats, Tinkerbell, Big Mama, and Angel.

Preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Genco; former husband, Joseph “Papa” Ratliff, Sr.; sons, Joseph “JR” Charles Ratliff, Jr. and Tommy Joe Ratliff; daughters, Theresa Ficklin, Cheryl Ratliff, and Patricia Rick; parents, Theresa and Charles Norman; sisters, Mabel Smith and Nancy Sparks; brother, Bill Norman; grandsons, Shane Ratliff, Joby Lamarca, and great grandson, Landon Lamarca.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Rd., Ponchatoula, LA 70454 on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 12:00 pm with her grandson, Chaplain Wayne Ratliff presiding.  The visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until service time.

Interment will follow in Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite, LA.
