Harold Joseph Landry

Harold Joseph Landry passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at his residence in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 70.  He was born on Wednesday, July 7, 1954 in New Orleans. Harold and Brenda enjoyed traveling the United States while driving for Schneider Trucking Company. He enjoyed traveling in his personal truck as well, visiting friends and family.

Harold is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Brenda Garrison Landry; daughter, Traci Melancon; stepchildren, Christopher Canet, Theresa Canet Perez, and David Canet; siblings, Lawrence Landry (Dolly), Shirley Glynn, and Henry Landry (Toni); sister-in-law, Taylor Landry; grandchildren, Cameron Hollister and Reagen Melancon; step grandchildren, Christopher William Canet, Michael Canet, Rocky Perez, James Perez, Kayla Perez, David Perez, Noah Canet, Brandi Canet, and James Canet; and great grandson, Christian. Also survived by many family members and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Pearl Giroir and Oville J. Landry; brothers, Charles Landry and Andrew Landry; sister and brother-in-law, Agnes and Morris Zeringue; brother-in-law, Walter Glynn; and sisters-in-law, Betty Landry and Mary Landry.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 29350 South Montpelier Rd, Albany, LA 70711 on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. The Celebration of Harold’s Life will be held at 11:00 am with visitation continuing until 2:00 pm.
