Gregory Roy Salinas

Gregory “Greg” Roy Salinas passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana at the age of 62.  He was born on Tuesday, October 11, 1960 in Huntsville, Alabama and was a longtime resident of Albany, Louisiana.

Greg is survived by his beloved family. His children, Joseph, Claire, and Gregory Salinas; granddaughter, Aubreigh Salinas; siblings Pam Manning, Cindy Mahida, Belinda Sanders, and Kenneth Salinas; brothers-in-law, Dan Manning and Hamlet Mahida; sister-in-law, Andrea Salinas; nieces and nephews, Quentin Salinas, Desiree Wheeler, Jay Chesney, Gary Chesney, Briana Nelms, Lupe Salinas Mahida, Blake Young, Michael Young, Austin Salinas, Tyler Salinas, and Isabelle Salinas.

Preceded in death by his mother, Marie Salinas; father, Hugo Salinas; stepmother, Virginia Salinas; sister, Sherry Chesney; and niece, Cricket Salinas.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
