Gary Stephen Leggitt passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at his residence in Ponchatoula, Louisiana at the age of 72. He was born on Tuesday, October 31, 1950, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Crystal Suzanne Scafidel Leggitt; parents, Earl Edward Leggitt and Anna Clare Kenner Leggitt.
He is survived by his stepson and step daughter-in-law, Benjamin and Rachel Young; siblings, Carl Edward Leggitt, Alfred Scott Leggitt, Evelyn Mary Leggitt, and Max Kenner Leggitt; grandchildren, Benjamin M. Young, Joseph Young, Stephanie Young, Haley Strate, and Victoria Strate; and great grandson, Edward Young.
A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be announced.
