Gary Lee Dennis, Sr.

Gary Lee Dennis, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 56.  He was born on Tuesday, May 28, 1968, in New Orleans, Louisiana and resided in Loranger.  Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, and he was a hardcore New Orleans Saints Fan!

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Michelle L. Dennis; children, Elizabeth M. Seely (Brandon); Morgan D. Butler (Justin); Ashley S. Icaza; and Gary L. Dennis, Jr.; grandsons, Mason Butler and Harrison Seely; brothers, Mike Dennis (Pam) and Mark Dennis (Melanie); and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Linda “Ann” and James “Snap” Anthony; father, James C. Dennis; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana, on Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 pm.

The interment will be held in Lawrence Memorial Garden #2, 17356 N. Cooper Rd., Loranger, Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dennis Family, in Gary’s memory.
