In Loving Memory of Gail Marie Conerly

January 15, 1952 – October 11, 2026

“

Rather than saying goodbye, she would say, 'See you later,' followed by her familiar words, 'Love you much.'

Gail Marie Conerly, age 74, was born on Tuesday, January 15, 1952, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., leaving behind a family who loved her dearly and will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

Gail was a loving, kindhearted, and devoted mother and grandmother whose life was centered around caring for her family. She was a provider, a protector, and an encourager who always made sure her children and grandchildren knew they were loved. She had a straightforward personality and was never afraid to speak her mind. Gail kept it real, spoke from the heart, and offered honest advice to those she loved.

Gail was an excellent cook, and her specialty was gumbo. Her cooking brought comfort and joy to her family, and her love could be felt in the meals she prepared and the cakes she baked. She especially enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, traveling, and talking to her children on the phone. Those conversations were a special part of her life, keeping her connected to the people who meant the most to her.

Above all, Gail loved Jehovah God. Her love for Jehovah was an important part of who she was, and her faith brought meaning to her life. Her devotion to her family, her caring spirit, and her willingness to encourage and support others will always be remembered.

Gail leaves to cherish her memory of her four children: Lisa Moore, Corey Moore, Natasha Moore, and Trinitrius Brown; her nine beloved grandchildren; and other family members and loved ones whose lives she touched.

Gail had her own special way of expressing love. Rather than saying goodbye, she would say, “See you later,” followed by her familiar words, “Love you much.” Those simple words will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family, reminding them of her warmth, her love, and the bond they shared.

Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, Gail's love, laughter, honest words, delicious gumbo, homemade cakes, and cherished phone conversations will live on through the memories of those who knew and loved her.

Until we see you later, Gail. Love you much. You will forever be loved, remembered, and treasured in our hearts.

A private Celebration of Gail's life will be held by her family.

Gail's arrangements have been entrusted to LN Hughes Funeral Services.
