Frances Price Rhodus

Frances Price Rhodus, 73 years old, lifelong resident of Denham Springs, currently residing in Amite, LA., passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Our Lady of The Lake Hospital.  She was born Wednesday, February 01, 1950, in Vernon, Alabama. Frances's passion in life was the love of her life, Gary Rhodus, Sr, to whom she was married to for 51 years, and her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Frances is survived by her beloved husband, Gary Rhodus, Sr.; daughters, Crystal Corban and husband, Aaron, and Sherry Rhodus; son, Gary Rhodus, Jr. and wife Heather.  Six grandchildren, Kolten, Gannon, and Remington Rhodus, Bayleigh Schulz, and Reese Corban; and great grandchildren, Addison and Camille Corban; sisters, Beulah West and husband, Art, Christine Collins, Joyce Newman, Annie Monistere and husband, Angelo, and Wanda DiMaggio and husband, Ed; brother, Kelcy Price, Jr., Tommy Price and wife, Sue, and Louis Price and wife, Brenda; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her lifelong friend Bea Passman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Christine and Kelcy Price Sr.; brothers, Chelsea "Bud" Price and Kenneth Price; sister, Sue Core and infant sister, Barbara Price.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana on  Friday, October 20, 2023, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and on Saturday morning October 21, 2023, from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am.  Brother Mike Vaughn will officiate.

The interment will follow in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
