Farrell Anthony Tony Buras Jr

Farrell Anthony “Tony” Buras, Jr. passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 in Hammond, LA at the age of 41. Tony was born on Friday, June 1, 1979 in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Hammond, LA.

Tony is survived by his loving family: his mother and stepfather, Dorothy “Sherry” Weber and Edward “Eddie” Weber; father, Farrell A. Buras, Sr.; children, Erick Barker, Benjamin Buras, Lucas Buras, and Annabella Cater; sister, Myra Grantham, Alice Buras, Jason Buras, Karen Buras Newell, and Carrell Buras Jones; and nieces, Cindy Grantham and Ivy Bahm.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth and Jack Brunett, and Marie Reese and Dimitry Buras.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at My Father’s House Church, 18431 Highway 1057, Kentwood, Louisiana 70444 on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11:00 am.  Brother Melvin Rushing, Jr., Pastor presiding.  Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 am until service time.
