Evelyn Carlean Niehaus passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Heritage Healthcare in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 84. She was born on Sunday, August 18, 1940 in Natalbany and resided in Ponchatoula.
Carlean is survived by her children, Russell Niehaus (Carleen), Debra Crayton (David), and Joseph Niehaus (Michele); grandchildren, Daniel, Jessica, Kera, Gabby, and JJ; and great grandchildren, Brayden, Jake, Alaina, and Karsyn.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Russell Niehaus; and her parents, Lelia and Willie Powell.
