Evelyn Harrell Accardo

Evelyn Ruth Harrell Accardo passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 in Hammond, Louisiana at the age of 72.  She was born on Monday, December 20, 1948 to Paul and Violet Harrell in Independence, Louisiana and resided in Hammond, Louisiana.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Peyres (Todd); son, Richard Wright; grandchildren, Kaitlyn D’Lane Burch and Kasen Burton Wright; siblings, John C. Harrell (Rita), Larry E. Harrell (Barbara), and Daniel Harrell (Peggy); great-grandchild, Jaidyn D’Lane Burch; special nieces, Tanya Harrell, Sandra Harrell, and Andrea Harrell, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Violet Hoffpauier Harrell; and siblings Judy O’Neil, Michael Harrell, and Donald Harrell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Evelyn’s Life in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and continue until 2:00 pm.
