Ethan approached life as an adventure.

Ethan Joseph Landry, known for his vibrant spirit and profound kindness, departed from this world on Friday, July 3, 2026, in Hammond, Louisiana. Born on Thursday, February 6, 2003, in Covington, Louisiana, Ethan's journey through life, though brief, was luminous and filled with a joy that radiated outward to all who knew him.

The son of Adam and Kelly Landry, Ethan was dedicated to his friends and family. He adored his two little sisters Avielle and Brinley and was best friends with his big brother Jacob. He also had a special love for his sister Zoe. Ethan brought laughter and joy to all who knew him. He was caring and loving to his core.

Ethan was a proud graduate of Avoyelles High School, Class of 2021, where he distinguished himself with honors. He worked for several years as a dedicated employee at Chick-fil-a where he earned awards such as “Lord of the Fries” and Team Leader of the year. He was also a valued team member at Bill Hood in Hammond, where he worked as a certified Hyundai mechanic.

He had many interests and hobbies. He loved video games—especially Guitar Hero and Skyrim—reading his favorite books and experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes. He loved camping, hiking, fishing, skateboarding, and tinkering with imaginative creations. He was a master Rubik's cube solver! Ethan approached life as an adventure.  His fondness for anime, the company of good friends, and the unconditional love he shared with his beloved cat, Alfredo, brought him comfort and joy.

Above all, Ethan’s love was most visible in the time spent with his family and friends; it was a love that knew no bounds.

Ethan leaves behind his loving family: his mother Kelly Nicole Landry, father Nicholas "Adam" Landry, brother Jacob Adam Landry, future sister in law Jaedyn, sisters Zoe Landry, Avielle Louise Mayeux, and Brinley Mae Mayeux, stepfather Joshua Keith Mayeux, stepmother Lauren Danielle Landry, grandfather Joey F.
