Edward Patrick Casey

Edward Patrick Casey passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at his residence in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 79.  He was born on Wednesday, September 24, 1941, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Edward is survived by his loving family; his wife, Carolyn Dieck Casey; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Joie Babin Casey; grandchildren, Rachael, Gavin, and Joshua Casey; sister-in-law, Elaine Dieck Reis; nephew, Clifford Reis, Jr., and nieces, Laurie Reis Brister and Karen Reis Barrilleaux.

Preceded in death by his parents, John Joseph and Gussie Suarez Casey; and sister, Doris Casey.

The Casey family extends special thanks to the Heart of Hospice nursing staff; and friends, Lynn and Robby Bardales for their compassionate care.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at 12:00 pm followed by the Memorial Mass at 1:00 pm at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 Saint Mary St, Madisonville, LA 70447, on Friday, July 2, 2021.
