Donnie Gerald Ryals

Donnie Gerald Ryals passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at his residence in Albany, Louisiana, at the age of 73.  He was born on Sunday, July 30, 1950 in Mobile, Alabama and was a graduate of Chalmette High School.  He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam era.

Donnie is survived by his children, Jennifer Ballard (Wayne), Angella Baxter (Carl), Donne Ryals (Maggie), Jessica Ryals, and Joshua Ryals (Abigail); mother, Joyce Triplett Ryals; siblings, Lois Ford, Ronnie Ryals, Beverly Gallavan, and Patricia Graham.  Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, Jessie Wallace Ryals.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Donnie’s Life in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.  The Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 pm with military honors.
