Donald Phillip Mccarroll

Donald Phillip McCarroll passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in Hammond/Pumpkin Center, Louisiana at the age of 88. He was born on Tuesday, October 22, 1935, in Albany, Louisiana, and resided for several years in Houston, Texas.  Donald retired from Chevron as a plant operator and served in the United States Army.

Donald is survived by his wife, Margarette Martin McCarroll; daughter, Allison Joy McCarroll; daughter-in-law, Catherine McCarroll; brother, Sam McCarroll; sister, Joan McCarroll Perilloux; grandchildren, Danielle McCarroll Jones, Danyon McCarroll and wife, Johanna, and Dade McCarroll; and great grandchildren, Madyson Leigh Smith, Gunner Wyatt Jones, Peyton Marie McCarroll, Audrey Monroe McCarroll, and Thomas Paul McCarroll.

Preceded in death by his sons, Donald Clayton McCarroll, Daniel Phillip McCarroll, and Paul Alan McCarroll; grandson, Dylan Slade McCarroll; parents, Elmore and Marie McCarroll; siblings, Dorothy McCarroll, Vera McCarroll Smith, Elmore McCarroll, Jr., and Wendel R. McCarroll, Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 11109 Jerusalem Church Rd., Hammond, Louisiana on Saturday, September 28, 2024, beginning at 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm with Revs. Gene Hoyt and Mitch Williams presiding.

Interment will follow with military honors in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery.
