Don Christopher Hoover passed away peacefully, with his loving wife by his side, on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at his residence in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 74. He was born on Monday, October 14, 1946, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Don is survived by his beloved wife of 7 years, Joan Lavigne Hoover; his daughters, Terri Broome (Wade) and Melissa Hoover; sister, Maureen “Taco” Rowland (Dennis); and grandchildren, Casey Murray, Travis Peake, Alicia Salter, Brittney Salter, Chris Broome, and Serena Smith. Also survived by his two beloved cats, Tiger and Runt.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Terri Hoover; son, Dane Peake; and parents, Myrtle and Irvin Hoover.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Don's Life at the Hoover residence on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
