Dolores Henning Bouchereau

Dolores Henning Bouchereau, age 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Trinity Trace Community Care Center, with her daughters, Linda and Dawn, at her bedside.  She was born on Monday, June 7, 1937 in New Orleans, Louisiana was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish until Hurricane Katrina.  She relocated to St. Tammany Parish with her late husband of 59 years, William M. Bouchereau, Sr.  Dolores worked in the mailroom at Maison Blanche before taking a job with the United States Postal Service prior to her retirement.  She enjoyed bowling, going to craft fairs with her daughters, thrift store shopping with her sister, and attending Bible study.

Dolores will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law, Linda Dieudonne’ Kline and Calvin “Bud” Kline; grandson, Richard Dieudonne’(Ashleigh), and Colby (Kamie); and great grandchildren, Trey, Bentley, Drue and Dylan. Her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn B. and Russell Elrod; and granddaughter, Gabrielle C. Elrod.  Estranged son, William M. Bouchereau, Jr. (Marie); grandchildren, David, Alexis, Emily, Deborah (Michael), and Crystal; and great-grandchildren, Elijah, Aubrielle, and Christopher. Brother, Louis L. Nolting, Jr.; nephew, Stephen; niece, Shannon and many great nieces and nephews; and estranged siblings, Raymond R. Nolting, David J. Nolting, and Karen N. Lamia.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, William M. Bouchereau; daughter, Marguerite Bouchereau Harris Simmons; grandsons, Allen Harris and Mark Harris; mother, Florence Emma Pontiff; father, Herman Howard Henning; sister, Rose L. Henning; and brothers, Herman H. Henning, Jr. and Michael Nolting.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
