Dickie Martin Penn

Dickie Martin Penn passed away at his residence in Ponchatoula, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the age of 63. He was born on Saturday, January 7, 1961, in Gulfport, Mississippi. He worked for Brand Scaffolding for many years.  Dickie enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.  He had a big loving heart and would do anything for anyone.

Dickie is survived by his siblings, Alicia Cordelle, Dorothy Joiner Clark (Jerry), Millie Joiner Williams (Virgil), Tommy Joiner, Stella Joiner West (Joe), and Toni Joiner Matthews (Tim); uncle, Daryn Lassabe (Stephanie); nieces and nephews, Michelle, Brett, Christian, Trey, Brittney, Kayla, Brook, Michaela, Tori, and Cece; and great nieces and nephews, Sage, Lane, Preston, Brynleigh, Hyland, Lennon, Caroline, Weston, and Harrison.  Also survived by his caretakers, Marty and Fred and best friend, Bear.

Preceded in death by his mother, Mary Dean Penn Joiner and stepfather, Alvin Joiner; grandparents, Martin Penn and Dorothy Lassabe; siblings, Sherman Joiner and Shirley Joiner; and nephew, Lil Wayne Joiner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation in the chapel of LN Hughes Funeral Services, 21400 South I-12 Service Road, Ponchatoula, Louisiana on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 1:30 pm until 5:00 pm.  The Funeral Service will follow at 5:00 pm.
