Dawn Parra Gomillion

Dawn “Missy” Parra Gomillion, age 58, was welcomed home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. She was born on Saturday, August 7, 1965 in Metairie, LA and resided in Ponchatoula.

Dawn was a kind, caring, loving person who was loved by all. Her biggest love was being with her family. She will be dearly missed and thought of daily by her family and adoring friends.

Dawn was preceded in death by her mother, Melva Churchill Parra; her father, Guy Louis Parra; and her husband, Thomas Gomillion.

She is survived by her daughter, Kara Leigh Gomillion; brothers, Guy Russo and Harold A. Russo (Kevin); uncle, Stephen G. Parra, Sr. (Elaine); nephew, Christopher Russo; and cousins, Stephen Parra, Jr., and Jason Parra.  Also survived by great Parra nieces, great Russo nieces, and great Parra nephew.
